ZEN: Covering a basic yet wonderful question by Vaishalee as she asked me:
Vaishalee - "What is spiritual need?"
Milun - When you ask, 'what is the need for spirituality?' you are actually asking, 'what is the need for happiness or internal health?' This answers the question instantly but partially.
Once upon a time there was no spiritual need . Anyone who believes in rebirth or has gone through the rigors in this lifetime can understand it well. Just as a battery depletes, so does the soul, and so while once we were fully charged, with no need for external stimulus: to be happy, confident, peaceful and powerful, as time and lifetimes went by, we grew weaker & weaker with no power to sustain our inner well-being. We started depending on people, things and events to lend us happiness and peace. This is a sure sign, that you are depleted and are in "need" of spiritual revival, or treatment if you will. Even if you don't believe in rebirths, one lifetime is enough to deplete you these days . An important thing to note here is that not everybody is spiritually sick or weak , needing a treatment, education or enlightenment. There are strong people all around us who truly remain happy, strong and conent in the face of things, while the rest of us get shaky at the slightest. A person lit up with inner happiness is spiritually healthy, while the rest of us can always engage in spiritual exercises to raise up our strength. People & circumstances can add to our happiness, they can't make us happy! It's an inside job like they say.
DEN: Avoid the use of one color excessively when it comes to any of these: your home/office decor, wall colors, your wardrobe. Colors excite our emotions and it's good to have a mix of colors around. I will address specific colors in subsequent Museletters. For now, do a color check on your wardrobe, surroundings & decor, both at home & office.
